Queen of the Castle

Queen of the Castle from NextGen Gaming, released in 2018, invites players in Mauritius to enter a whimsical medieval world. This video slot features a 5-reel setup with a distinctive 3x4x4x4x3 layout, offering 576 ways to win on every spin. Symbols on the reels include the Queen’s banner, a loyal puppy, bags of gold, the royal throne, and vibrant coloured gems, all fitting the fairy tale theme. The Queen serves as the Wild symbol, replacing all other symbols except the Bonus Scatter and the Crown for even more winning opportunities.

Gameplay and Features

The game is packed with engaging bonus features designed to boost your wins. The Red Mystery Chest on reel 1 activates the Red Mystery Chest Reveal, turning all low-value symbols into a randomly chosen high-paying symbol. Additionally, the Purple Mystery Chest appears on reel 5 and triggers the Purple Mystery Chest Reveal, converting all gem symbols into one high-paying symbol. Both chests come with a nudge mechanism that ensures the chest will fully appear when it lands partially on the reel.

Landing three Bonus Scatter symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4 unlocks 14 free spins in the Free Games feature. During free spins, the Crown symbol takes over for the Bonus Scatter, filling up the Tower Meter. Collecting Crowns increases your level, unlocking up to four levels, boosting your ways to win to a maximum of 3,078 and offering extra free spins along the way.
